Skin Care & Body Work Day Spa and Eco-Chic Boutique is located in picturesque downtown Sierra Madre in the foothills of Los Angeles’ San Gabriel Mountains. Our award-winning spa offers luxury spa treatments including facials, waxing, body treatments and over 30 different types of massage. All of our spa services are available for individuals or couples. Our spa also offers unique services such as feather hair extensions, lash and brow tinting, single-use paraffin treatments for hands and feet, energy work and alternative therapies focusing on mind, body and spirit. Pregnancy services are available for expectant mothers such as our signature Pregnant Belly Facial and Pregnancy Massage using all organic products, safe for mother and baby. We also offer Certified Doula services by Spa Owner and experienced Doula Laura Hirsh, CD(DONA).
Winner of “Best Day Spa in Los Angeles,” we specialize in quick and professional waxing services like our “Whole Sha-bang” wax, Brazilian and Bikini waxes. An optional bikini numbing cream is available as an add-on to any waxing service.
Skin Care and Body Work is an Eco-Spa. We use holistic skin care products with no parabens, 100% recycled packaging and gift wrapping, electronic receipts and marketing to minimize our carbon footprint and energy-saving quick-drying linens.
Our spa’s “Eco-Chic Boutique” features an array of Earth-friendly and Fair Trade lifestyle, fashion, home and beauty products and gifts to choose from, including handmade and one-of-a-kind jewelry. Sales of select scarves, clothing and jewelry in our boutique benefit various charities and support trade with small villages. Reusable and fashionable shopping bags, ceramic coffee cups, colorful silicone coffee sleeves and lids promote eco-friendly practices. We have the Clarisonic Pro (only for sale by licensed estheticians) and Opal products. We also sell natural cosmetics, mineral sunscreen, handbags, retro dish gloves, aprons and shower caps, clothing and more unique items that you will not find in other spa boutiques! Spa Gift Certificates and Reward Cards are available as well as FREE eco-friendly gift wrapping.
